Yearly since 1984 in San Francisco a fair has taken place on Folsom Street. The fair which caps off Leather Pride week draws upwards of 400,000 people from across the globe. Folsom street which was once the epicenter for gay bars, bathhouses and gays decked out in full leather now fills with participants, voyeurs and exhibitionist looking to get a peek into what the BDSM scene is. This fair isn't for the faint of heart or uptight crowd, from flogging demonstration which leave participants back welted and bleeding to public displays of sexual acts. For the first time we get an insiders look into this scene. This zine takes us beyond the standard photographs of outfits and poses to show us the up close and personal side of the fair. You can feel the energy, smell the leather and sex in the air as you flip through the pages. Shot on B&W 35mm film the photographer gives us a documentary view into this world and first hand account of the fair.
Photographed by No Secrets Between Sailors, and published by Bad Books LTD. The zine features 40 pages of leather, pups, doms, subs, BDSM, and public acts which will leave even the most experienced individual in awe.
